The rules,
written plainly.
The short version
- Memberships bill monthly and cover reformer sessions only.
- Cancel a session in Vagaro 24 hours ahead and it costs you nothing.
- Class packs expire after three months. Founding members’ packs never expire.
- Everyone signs a participation agreement before their first session.
- You need to tell us about injuries, pregnancy and postpartum status, and keep us updated.
The full terms are below. If anything here does not match what you were told, the written terms are what apply, so ask us and we will fix it.
Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and Priorizame, LLC, doing business as Priorízame, at 4770 S 900 E, Murray City, Utah 84117. They are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
They cover memberships, class packs, drop-ins and bookings. Your participation agreement, which you sign before your first session, covers safety, risk and liability. Both apply.
What a membership includes
A membership entitles you to a set number of reformer sessions each week, either private or duet, at the frequency you selected when you joined.
- Sessions are 50 minutes for a private, one hour for a duet.
- Your sessions are scheduled with the studio and held as a standing slot where possible.
- Members book ahead of non-members on the studio schedule.
- Small group classes (mat, barre and fascia) are not included and are bought as packs or drop-ins.
Sessions are tied to the week they fall in and do not accumulate.
Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. The studio does not see or store your card details.
- Your first payment is taken when you join.
- After that you are billed monthly on the same date.
- The rate you join at is the rate you keep, for as long as your membership runs without a break. If you cancel and rejoin later, the current rate applies.
- If a payment fails we will contact you and try again.
Prices may change for new members at any time. Existing members will be given notice before any change affects them.
Changing or cancelling your membership
This section needs to state three things plainly: how much notice you give, whether there is a minimum term, and whether a membership can be paused rather than cancelled.
Switching between private and duet, or changing frequency, takes effect from your next billing date. Tell us before that date and there is no charge for the change.
Booking, cancelling and missed sessions
All booking runs through Vagaro.
- Cancel at least 24 hours ahead and the session is not counted.
- Cancel inside 24 hours, or do not arrive, and the session is used. That time was held for you and cannot be offered to anyone else.
- Group classes hold six people. When a class fills, a waitlist opens and you are notified automatically if a spot frees up.
- Arriving late may shorten your session, for your safety and the next client’s start time.
If the studio has to cancel a session, you will not be charged for it and we will reschedule.
Class packs and drop-ins
- Packs are ten sessions and expire three months after purchase.
- Founding members’ packs never expire, on every pack they buy, for as long as they remain members.
- Packs are personal to you and cannot be shared or transferred.
- Packs and drop-ins are non-refundable once purchased..
Guests
If members can bring a guest to a group class, this is where it gets stated: how often, whether the guest pays, and whether they need to sign the participation agreement first. They do.
Health, safety and your participation agreement
Before your first session you sign a Participation Agreement, Release and Assumption of Risk. It is the document that governs safety and liability, and these membership terms do not replace it.
In summary, and without restating the whole agreement:
- Pilates carries real physical risk, including injury from spring-loaded reformer equipment, and you take that risk on knowingly.
- You must tell us about any medical condition, injury, surgery or limitation that affects your safe participation, and keep us updated as things change.
- Our instructors are not physicians. Nothing said in a session is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- You have been advised to speak to a doctor before starting, particularly with osteoporosis or osteopenia, recent surgery, a heart condition, or any other medical concern.
- If you are pregnant, may be pregnant, or are postpartum, you confirm you have spoken to your healthcare provider, that they have not advised against it, and that you will tell us about your status and any changes to it.
- Tell your instructor immediately about any pain, dizziness or discomfort during a session.
You must be 18 or over to sign for yourself. A parent or guardian signs for anyone younger.
Studio rules
- Grip socks are required on the reformer.
- Follow posted instructions and your instructor’s directions, and use equipment only as shown.
- Stay within your own limits. Nothing here is a competition.
- Do not train under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that affects your ability to exercise safely.
- The studio can refuse or stop a session for safety reasons.
Photographs and video
The studio sometimes photographs or films in the space for its website, social media, emails and printed materials. Your consent is optional and it is your choice, made on your participation agreement, and it does not affect your ability to take part in anything.
If you consent, you can withdraw it in writing at any time for future use. We will honour that, though we cannot recall anything already published.
If you do not consent, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you out of marketing photography, and we ask that you tell staff before any group filming.
